Katy E. Bodenburg, GG
Katy Bodenburg is a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute
of America and a Certified Master Appraiser through the National
Association of Jewelry Appraisers. She is a member of the Accredited
Gemologists Association and the Association of Independent Jewellery
Valuers. The appraiser attended the University of Akron and received a
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design.
Katy is committed to learning. Her training is ongoing in
the field of appraising, new gemological findings and advancements,
current jewelry trends and manufacturing techniques. She attends annual
jewelry-related conferences, seminars and workshops. Katy is a
research associate for the Auction Market Resource for Gems and Jewelry
website.
Ms. Bodenburg is proud to have her gem lab designated as AGA’s
Certified Gemological Laboratory #45 through the Accredited Gemologists
Association. Katy is an independent jewelry appraiser that will offer
you an unbiased report. Appraisal and consultation fees are set on a
